Windrose: frequently asked questions

Do I need to set up Wine for Windrose?

No. Windrose runs through a Wine compatibility layer on our Linux servers and we configure it for you. The server starts through Wine automatically.

How fast is my Windrose server online?

Your server is installed automatically right after payment, usually within a minute. You manage it in our game panel at game.space-node.net: start and stop it, upload files and install mods or plugins.

Which locations can I choose?

You can choose Europe (Netherlands, Germany, Poland), USA, Canada, Singapore, India and Australia. Pick the region closest to your players or viewers for the lowest ping. Moving your server to another location later is free; just ask us in live chat.

Is DDoS protection included?

Yes. Every plan includes DDoS protection at no extra cost.

Can I upgrade later?

Yes. You can upgrade to a bigger plan from your client area at any time and your files stay where they are.

How can I pay and can I cancel?

You can pay by bank transfer, card, iDEAL, Bancontact, PayPal and more. There is no long contract: you can cancel from your client area and your service stays online until the end of the period you paid for.

Your server is installed automatically right after payment. Prices include VAT where it applies.
